It's a beautiful world out there.

"Perhaps Love" is a movie that will make you spend time asking questions on why, what, when, and how, during the film itself and when the credits roll. But once you walk out of the cinema, you gradually understand the story the director wants to tell.

A powerful, moving film that touched the deepest corner of my heart.

And Kaneshiro Takeshi was... need I say more?

The songs were less than satisfactory though. I went into the theatre already not expecting much, but they turned out worse! o_O The best song in the movie, was ironically a song by Qi Qin that was written ages ago, and not for the movie itself...

On another note, I'm soon heading to Batam for a wedding dinner tonight, and I have no idea what the bride or groom look like. This is where I reconnect with my Indonesian roots (yes I do have Indo blood in me, just that little bit).

It was beauty killed the beast.

I saw King Kong today with the folks, and did another round of House Of Sand And Fog (private thing between Piggy and I, except this time it was without her ;p). And while Adrien Brody isn't exactly Brad Pitt in the looks department, he has, strangely enough, captured my heart with his very unique charm <3

New person to add to my "Favourite Celebrities" list ^_^

Have yourself a merry little Christmas.

And so I'm offering this simple phrase
To kids from one to ninety-two
Although it's been said
Many times, many ways
Merry Christmas... to you.

And to that certain someone, seven hours away at the other end of the world: Wherever you might be, whatever you might be doing, whomever you might be with right at this very moment, Merry Christmas to you, too.

:)

You're a weaver of dreams.

I spotted Chen Hanwei at the gym today, the Paragon branch. I watched him from afar, mostly out of curiousity, while he lifted a couple of weights and stuff (with a cap covering his face to prevent people from recognising him).

I stood there looking at him for about three minutes and walked away. I didn't go up to say hello or anything, because it's been ten years since he was my favourite actor (recall the Fang Laoshi days -_-), and most importantly his last name was not TAY, plus he didn't have initials P.H. in his name ^_^

FF at Paragon intrigues me.

Stuck in a moment.

And so I leave Melbourne, with a regret that will plague me for the rest of the summer, if not a very, very long time...

Now you're stuck in a moment
And you can't get out of it.

Everything but the girl.

I have come to realise, that if it weren't for the three Fs (go figure) in my life, I wouldn't be arsed to fly back to SG for the holidays.

As it is, I'm getting on a plane to SG in approximately 41 hours, but if you ask me, I will tell you from the bottom of my heart that I don't feel like going home just yet... although I've already prolonged my stay in Melbourne quite a bit.

Because now it's right smack in the middle of summer, it's warm and sunny and cold sometimes, but generally speaking, life is still good. So good that I wouldn't mind spending a few more days here to sit back and chill, and devote more time to myself (and certain friends). The days of having the entire house to myself will come to an end once I leave, which also contributes to this reluctance...

And most importantly, once I leave Melbourne for the year 2005, I know I'll have to bid a couple of friends goodbye, those who have graduated and are returning home to work...

I'm actually quite sad.

Or maybe it's just the cruel reality of being an international student in a foreign country, that I haven't come to terms with.

This love has taken its toll on me
She's said goodbye too many times before.

One day in your life.

Happy 17th birthday to a very special boy, who is now in a very special place... both in our hearts and somewhere far, far away.

You are Agnostic

You're not sure if God exists, and you don't care.
For you, there's no true way to figure out the divine.
You rather focus on what you can control - your own life.
And you tend to resent when others "sell" religion to you.

The special two.

The only female on my celeb crush list, Jennifer Garner, gave birth to a baby girl two days ago. The baby has been named Violet.

Violet. Violet Affleck. What the .... ??!!

Oh well. All the best anyway -_-

You and I got something
But it's all and then it's nothing to me.

The sound of white.

Now that the semester (and the exams) are finally over, I have been too lazy to blog. This goes to show that we (or rather, I) blog only when I'm stressed and need a channel to whine about schoolwork and bitch about life in general. But the way to describe my life now is spelled Free with a capital letter 'F'... life seriously does not get any better than this. And how exciting to know that this is going to last till the end of February!

A random post-exams day goes like this:

Wake up at 1pm. Laze around the house checking email, downloading stuff, watch torrents/TV. Prepare to go out, do the things I need to do while I am out, perhaps have dinner with a friend, come home, watch loads of TV, watch torrents. Go online, talk on the phone, sleep.

A longer absence from my blog is to be expected from this day forth, because the mom and two other coussies will be here to visit in approximately ten hours. Don't mind the extra company very much, but I wonder where I can bring the two young ones around, because Melbourne isn't quite a city for kids...

Been having strange dreams of late. Last week I dreamt that I hooked up with this guy at a bookstore (of all places). That sure says alot about my interests and personality hey? But that wasn't the worst thing. He was in school uniform - white and dark blue school uniform (haunting memories of DHS indeed haha)!! My god. I'm only 22, and here I am harbouring toyboy fantasies. Already!

Though I have to admit that while I do appreciate the older men now, I find the idea of having a much younger man when I hit 35 ... very, very appealing (err but of course he has to be "unique"). Press me for updates 13 years down the road.

Second dream was about me cheating in some Japanese test/exam thingy. I wasn't the only person cheating (o.O), but I remember it was Tasaki Sensei who caught me in the act and I can recall so vividly that embarrassment and fear when I thought they were going to call my mom (duh). Oh well. I just hope it isn't some bad omen about my upcoming JLPT on Sunday :p

And since the folks are gonna be arriving in ten hours, it's time to clean the entire house. Sigh.

Where do you go, my lovely
Where do you go
I wanna know, my lovely
I wanna know.
