Someday we'll know.

"You make it okay. You watch TV, without seeing or hearing. You fight back the tears. You make dinner, not feeling very hungry. You play around and make a joke, because someone has noticed that something's not right. You clean up, not that you normally would but you need to keep busy. Besides, its not like much matters tonight. You brush your teeth, comb your hair, look in the mirror, still fighting back all the tears. You turn off the lights. You climb into bed and shiver, it's too cold. You hear the wind blowing, howling. You feel scared in the dark, all alone. You try to hold them back, fight them off, but they are just too strong. You let go, but you try not to wake anyone. You shudder and moan. You crawl up into a ball and hold your legs to your chest. You want to scream and run till your lungs give out, but you can't. You can't believe you are capable of this, surely after all these times, after all these years, you are better than this? Well you're not. You never were and you never will be."

Got this from random Facebook browsing. It literally pierced my little heart to bits.

There's a land that I heard of, once in a lullaby.

Like most of my friends who've left school and are now contributing to society, I don't have much spare time/energy/motivation to write a quality blog entry or translate my random bitchings into writing anymore. Very sad, but I will try my best to keep this blog going, hopefully, because I don't want 2008 to pass without immortalizing my memories in writing!!!!

So anyway, while I experience change around me very often, I do know that one thing never will - the random hilarity that punctuates my everyday life will always be there to remind me that I am a hopeless 25-year-old silly goose. Last week I was in the mother's car, on my way to work, when I looked down at my feet and realised, to my utmost horror:

... that I had unknowingly slipped on two DIFFERENT types of footwear without realizing it!!!!! Like, how ON EARTH was that even possible???!!! x_x I turned to my mother, who was on the phone then, and pointed to my feet and we both broke into a laughing fit at my silly-ness. It was too late to turn back home, so I just got through the day wearing a left Havaiana slipper and a right GB sandal. Very, very, unglam... arrgghhh!!!!!! -_- But the good thing was, no one noticed the difference. :p I mean, who on earth looks down at footwear anyway? Oops, apart from a particular someone I know who also reads this blog, a.k.a. The Shoe Snob. ;) I guess all I can say is, thank GOD I wasn't going on a date that night. -_-

'Tis the season to be jolly.

The wait is finally over!!!!!!

After a painfully dull period of having no TV in English to watch, my favourite American TV shows will return this month in (almost) FULL force - well, except for '24' - but I'm happy to wait till January next year for that.

The lineup:

Heroes Season 3 - September 22 (Excitement level 5/5)

Survivor Gabon 2-hour premiere - September 25 (Excitement level 6/5 :p)

The Amazing Race Season 13 - September 28 (Excitement level 4.5/5)

Cold Case Season 6 - September 28 (Excitement level 4/5)

So guess who's taking leave from work this month??? :p
