Of course, there wasnt a single kilogram of weight on the steps, so everyone was like huh? when the driver made that announcement, including yours truly. I seriously thought there was probably someone else at the other tram doors (trams here have three exits, for those of you in Singapore). It was only when the driver got up from his seat and walked to where I was standing, trying to see what was the problem with the stupid door which cannot close. He tugged, he pulled it wont budge. At that point it hit me. Sheesh! It was my damn bottle, stuck beneath the door that made it unable to close. Argh! I felt a sudden tinge of embarrassment, but refused to say a word, hoping that the doors will close soon and everyone will live happily ever after. Still, the doors wont budge. He went back to the drivers seat, tampered with a few buttons (I reckoned) and the doors still wouldnt close!!! I was getting a little frantic. Oh man oh man. Little me has demobilized an entire tram of people!!! Aaahhhhh!!! I kept as silent as a mouse, looking as innocent as a newborn baby. (I forgot if I pretended to look impatient at the same time you know, to be more convincing that I had absolutely no clue as to why the doors couldnt close. Hehe) I thought of the green light. The tram (and trams) waiting behind. The people who were going to be late. All because of my stupid bottle!
Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn
