Fearless.

I took Hao (or rather, he took ME, since he's so much taller and bigger ;p) to watch Fearless yesterday afternoon, and I have to say it's pretty good stuff. Simple, straightforward plot with a good amount of laughs - but of course the highlight of the movie was watching Jet Li perform those huh-huh-hah-hee stunts (err, I've heard the rumour about him having stunt doubles, but oh well). The ending was kinda sad and usually these things make me cry but surprisingly enough I didn't, probably because it didn't try to milk the audiences' emotions like I Not Stupid Too or King Kong did ... uh, though it took me quite awhile to realise that Huo Yuan Jia was actually a real person who did exist.

Catchy theme song by Jielun still stuck in my head ("HUO HUO HUO HUO HUO HUO HUO HUO!!!!!!" o_O)

The day ended with an absolutely to-die-for dinner at Keyaki, compliments from the very generous uncle!

And tonight, the cousins and I will be off to dessert at Max Brenner for fondue and possibly a suckao. And maybe a chocolate milk shake and a wafer and a brownie ;p

Can life possibly get any better?
