Uh, and Diego, I love you too... but seriously - LOSE THE FUZZ!!!And for those who are interested...
Video of Gael and Eva presenting the award. Note how Gael tries to stifle a giggle after he realised the double meaning in a certain part of his speech ;p Cute!

So guess what, the resident movie buff (i.e. ME) was glued to the TV for almost four hours (ugh) watching the 79th Academy Awards on Monday. Not that there were many awards I cared about (uh, stuff like Best Costume Design and Best Sound Mixing...?), but there was quite a handful of eye candy in their suits and expensive designer evening gowns. And is there any dress that Cate Blanchett cannot wear? Make her wear a potato sack next year -_-
Anyhow, it's the fourth day of the new semester and I've been feeling ...... okay. As far as my schedule goes, I have a grand total of SIX hours contact time, which is obviously very very little, BUT that also means I have LOTS of independent study to do (and not forgetting the thesis). And knowing how unmotivated and undisciplined I always am (take this moment for example, I am updating my blog?!), I fear for my future. It definitely is different this year, what with the sudden disappearance of our favourite local (Singaporean) food cafe on Lygon Street (WTF!)... I am also missing the people whom I used to see all the time in my classes, those who have either gone home for good or doing other subjects now.
On a much brighter note, today I made friends with two new postgrad students from Chinese Studies. They seem nice and all and I look forward to getting to know them this semester, but pity they are female. Hee hee!!
...... which is a good thing of course, so I won't have any unwelcome distractions at this crucial point in my academic life! ^_^
Here we are
Still together
We are one
So much time wasted
Playing games with love.
