Bizarred.
It is indeed difficult to keep up with blogging after you have left school, gone back to where you came from five years ago and are in the midst of looking for a job, simply because there just isn't anything that exciting to write about anymore. No more schoolwork stresses to bitch about, and although there still are the random observations and reflective thoughts, I hardly can be bothered to sit down and string them into sentences. In fact, the only writing I do these days is typing emails and writing on Facebook walls. And I do the same old things everyday - catch up with family and friends, watch a couple of movies, have a meal or two, go to the gym, study for the JLPT, worry about my job hunt, send in job applications, rehearse for the December performance at least three nights a week. I'm jobless (and super stressed out about that), but I'm glad I'm at least kept busy by all these non-job hunt-related activities.
And as much as it was extremely difficult to step out of Australian soil last month, I am actually settling in back home rather well (I guess it has a lot to do with the fact that I am unemployed and having the time of my life). I'm happy to be back home with familiar people, great food, and shops that do not shut at 6pm (hehe)... although I must say that I am still seriously annoyed with Singaporeans who absolutely DO NOT wait for passengers on the train to get OUT before they board. It's like, the train door opens and suddenly there is a mad rush to get inside the carriage, so that they can find a seat as fast as possible. WTF???!!!
I was in the car today and I randomly recalled what Jorageous jokingly said about me hooking up with a crew member of the upcoming performance, specifically the 'sound technician'. Her remark was in fact, a response towards my lament about how my love life will go down the drain after coming back home to Singapore.
And then I couldn't stop grinning. Jorageous, isn't it appropriate, seeing how light does travel faster than sound?! :)
I am still very much bizarred, and will remain dazed for awhile I'm sure, despite many attempts to come to terms with the events of Monday night...

well imho, there is not that great a different train wise in perth. there is still a crush to get in and out although not as bad as in singapore.
i dont get the crush here and i feel extremely relieved about that but that's cos i dont take the train at all heheh.
lks
Finally! A post! :D
Hopefully you'll reignite your creativeness and continue blogging, but if not, Facebook wall posts will surfice. :p
Glad you've managed to settle back home somewhat. Damn shops! Why do they have to close at 6?! I guess you take the good with the bad: we get well-behaved train-commuters, but have to suffer from lack of retail therapy destinations after 6 pm. :(
Good luck with the job-hunting!
Darren
tks for buying the tix.. will get it from you soon

hey, what's this december performance about? and i can't find something interesting to blog about either!! btw, i was going to sign up for JLPT, but as soon as i start working, i find it hard to revise jap after work @_@
i was also like you, super stressed out when i was jobless, and now that i am working, being jobless isn't so bad at all ^^;; except that you'd probably be broke after few months ^^;; but yeah, good luck with job hunting :D
